Allah is Isa: proof in the Quran

Shocking facts that come straight from the Quran identifying that the God of the Quran is none other than JESUS CHRIST!

It is true that Muhammad has spent time denying that Jesus Christ is not more than a prophet, and that Jesus (because he is a man) is not God. However, we will show vivid proof today that the Quran agrees that Muhammad was told to consult with the Jews and Christians for clarification when he was wrong about things. We have proof that Muhammad's message about Isa, isn't 100% accurate based on information in the Quran and the Hadith's.

There are three unique titles that Jesus Christ is given that set him apart from the famous author's of Hadith's, men that form the Caliphate, and the prophet Muhammad. Women-An Nisa 4:171 declares:

1.) AL-Masih, Isa = Christ Jesus "God's Anointed One".

As you understand by reading further in this article Surah 3:45 mentions Messiah and does not define the word; therefore it has to refer (based on the Quran{see below}) to the original Holy Writing (Bible) for definition. The Gospel was written in the Greek language. The Greek word for Al-Masih or "The Anointed One" is ho Christos from which comes the English word Christ. Therefore, whenever the word Christ is used in the English translation of the New Testament, it is the same as Al-Masih. Muslim Scholars agree on this point.

It is interesting to point out that The Old Testament contains over 300 references to the coming Messiah. All of which were fulfilled in the Life of Jesus. 61 Major Prophetic references that Jesus fulfilled with 100% accuracy.

2.) Kalimatuhuu = Jesus Christ "His Word"

The Family of Imran- Al-Imran 3:39

So then, when he stood praying in the place of worship, the angels called out to him saying: “Allah gives you the good news of YaHyā who shall come to confirm a word of Allah and shall be a chief, abstinent (from women), a prophet and one of the righteous.”

Revelation 19:13 mentions his name is: WORD OF GOD. In the Quran, no other person is given this unique title "the Word of God".

The bible tells us in St. John 1:1-4

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Surah 3:39 Jesus is called by Al-Baidawi "A Word From God". The most significant understanding here is that according to Muslim teachings, the book of God, the Quran, which is recited by tongues, and written in books (Masahif), and remembered in hearts, is eternal and exists in God Himself. It cannot be separated or parted from God by transferring to hearts or writing it on paper. Islam and Christianity are in agreement that God is eternal, His word is Eternal, and He is One.

One of the early leaders of the Muslim world, Caliph Ma'Moun (A.D. 786-833) believed the Quran was created. Specifically he stated in a letter to the Governor of Baghdad that those that believe the Quran is un-created are "like Christians that believe that Jesus the son of Mary was not created because he was the Word of God".

3.) Ruhun Minhu = Jesus Christ "A Spirit from God"

Women-An Nisa 4:171
O people of the Book, be not excessive in your Faith, and do not say about Allah anything but the truth. The MasīH ‘Īsā, the son of Maryam, is only a Messenger of Allah, and His Word that He had delivered to Maryam, and a spirit from Him. So, believe in Allah and His Messengers. Do not say “Three”. Stop it. That is good for you. Allah is the only One God. He is far too pure to have a son. To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. And Allah is enough to trust in.

The Quran here, plainly tells that Jesus, the Messiah, Son (born) of Mary is a Spirit from God. So you see, since you cannot separate the Word from God, He: Jesus is God manifest in the flesh(body). According to True Islam, Jesus is God's Spirit Eternal and not created.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali defines the term Spirit From God in a publication "The meaning of the Holy Quran". In explaining what the Spirit from God means, Ali says it is: "the Divine Spirit which we can no more define adequately than we can define in human language the nature and attributes of Allah." Shocking proof that the Spirit from God is the very Spirit of the Living God, uncreated and eternal! So now that we know this, we understand the words of Jesus:

St. John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

St. John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT THE BIBLE

The Quran confirms previous Holy Scripture

The Table Spread 5:48
And unto thee [O Prophet] have We vouchsafed this divine writ, setting forth the truth, confirming the truth of whatever there still remains of earlier revelations and determining what is true therein. Judge, then, between the followers of earlier revelation in accordance with what God has bestowed from on high, and do not follow their errant views, forsaking the truth that has come unto thee.
Unto every one of you have We appointed a [different] law and way of life. And if God had so willed, He could surely have made you all one single community: but [He willed it otherwise] in order to test you by means of what He has vouchsafed unto you. Vie, then, with one another in doing good works! Unto God you all must return; and then He will make you truly understand all that on which you were wont to differ

The Cow Al-Baqarah 2:89;91
89:And whenever there came unto them a [new] revelation from God, confirming the truth already in their possession – and [bear in mind that] aforetime they used to pray for victory over those who were bent on denying the truth – whenever there came unto them something which they recognized [as the truth], they would deny it. And God’s rejection is the due of all who deny the truth.

91:For when they are told, "Believe in what God has bestowed from on high," they reply, "We believe [only] in what has been bestowed on us" – and they deny the truth of everything else, although it be a truth confirming the one already in their possession.
Say: "Why, then, did you slay God’s prophets aforetime, if you were [truly] believers?"

92:SAY [O Prophet]: "Whosoever is an enemy of Gabriel" – who, verily, by God’s leave, has brought down upon thy heart this [divine writ] which confirms the truth of whatever there still remains [of earlier revelations], and is a guidance and a glad tiding for the believers –

These are just a few of the references in the Quran that identify the validity of the Bible. More here: 2:101, 6:92, 46:12, 57:27, 5:46. If there is a question in the previous verses as to whether or not the prophet meant the Bible, please refer to Quran's Surah The Family of Imran 3:3-4:

Step by step has He bestowed upon thee from on high this divine writ, setting forth the truth which confirms whatever there still remains [of earlier revelations]: for it is He who has bestowed from on high the Torah and the Gospel aforetime, as a guidance unto mankind, and it is He who has bestowed [upon man] the standard by which to discern the true from the false. Behold, as for those who are bent on denying God’s messages – grievous suffering awaits them: for God is almighty, an avenger of evil.

Muslims need to read the Bible

The Cow-Al Baqarah 2:136

Say: "We believe in God, and in that which has been bestowed from on high upon us, and that which has been bestowed upon Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and their descendants, and that which has been vouchsafed to Moses and Jesus, and that which has been vouchsafed to all the [other] prophets by their Sustainer: we make no distinction between any of them. And it is unto Him that we surrender ourselves."

We also can see the Quran tells us that THOSE that read the bible and "correctly interpret it" are to be consulted as the ultimate authority of the Quran's interpretation. Muhammad was instructed to confirm his reception of the truth from God by the bible. Surahs 5:43,47 declare that the Jews and Christians (in Muhammad's estimation) had the un-defiled Word of God in Muhammad's day.

Jonah-Yunus 10:94

AND SO, [O man,] if thou art in doubt about [the truth of] what We have [now] bestowed upon thee from on high, ask those who read the divine writ [revealed] before thy time: [and thou wilt find that,] surely, the truth has now come unto thee from thy Sustainer. Be not, then, among the doubters

What about the doctrine of "abrogation"?
Many muslim scholars declare that we should do away with previous holy writings, as they cannot pertain to the day and age we live in, and /or the Holy writing was only beneficial for a specific time. Surah 5:68 plainly declares that Jews and Christians had the Holy Writing in which "IF" they strayed they would not have ground to stand. Doesn't that clarify they were not supposed to abrogate their laws?

At Tabari (an early commentator on the Quran) discussed surah 5:68, He noted that Ibn Abbas (Muhammad's companion) asked Muhammad (based on questions from Jews) about whether or not he claimed to walk in the steps of Abraham, and if he did or not. Muhammad confirmed he did walk in the footsteps of Abraham, and that these Jews
concelaed the truth of the Torah. This commentary would prove that Muhammad understood that the Torah was not corrupted during his time.

So it is easy to see based on the Quran that Muhammad believed that the Torah and the Gospel have been given by Allah/God. Yet there are still those that say the Jews and Christians have corrupted the Holy Bible. Surah 5:82, 5:66 will shine the light on the question of "are there people that abide by the Holy Book of Jews and Christians?" These verses declare that Jews and Christians are devout learners of the Word.

****
I firmly believe that even the Anti-Christ glorifies God. In that Lucifer said "I will be like the most high" he announces and declares that God Almighty reigns over him.

It is common to many people that the people of the Quran are anti-christ because they deny the Son of God (this is in the Bible 1 John Ch. 1). But God in His infinite wisdom still shows the people of Quran His Glory through Jesus. The "one's" that deny that Jesus is the Son of God, will suffer the consequences (because even their book testifies of HIS LORDSHIP over all) of hell fire because they choose to deny JESUS CHRIST.

There is a reason that JESUS Christ and Imam Al-Medhi will come on the scene in the last days. It will be war between the two. As you have read today(and have in your teachings) JESUS CHRIST will conquer and put all things under His feet.

Jesus taught the disciples the plan of salvation for the sin of mankind. Acts 2:38-39 sums up the discourse. Acts 4:12 confirms it by the hand of a Jewish Man named Paul the Apostle. Repent and be baptized in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of your sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The promise is unto you and to your children and to all those that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call (call our God Lord).

Final acknowledgments:

Thank you to a very inspiring man SAMY TANAGHO for his role in identifying the facts in this article from the Quran and Hadiths. He has a book that will help any reader understand this subject, and I encourage you to read it thoroughly. Please visit his website: Glad News my Muslim Friend

Last but never the least, I thank JESUS CHRIST: God of Heaven and Earth, savior of my soul for the TRUTH he has delivered to me. I am not worthy of His recognition, yet He loved me so much that He hung, bled, and died on the cross and rose from the grave the 3rd day conquering death and hell so I could one day meet him Face to Face! Blessed be the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob forever and ever amen.
